Work & Play Weekends
Ready to experience the Olympic National Park, and get your hands dirty too? We welcome friends of the farm to join us for weekends filled with farming, food and fun.
Spend the Night!
Join us at Olympic Roots, located at the base of the Olympic Mountains just minutes from downtown Port Angeles for some fun on the farm!
Although we are not a campground, we do have space for our friends and farm family to stay during our Work & Play weekends.

We have safe space to park your vehicle, small RV or pitch a tent. During our Work & Play events, we will have access to a port-a-potty and potable water.

Explore!
Our Farm is just minutes from the Olympic National Park visitor center, and within an hour of many bucket list destinations.
​
During our Work & Play events, we will split our time between farm work, time to explore individually and opportunities to enjoy the area as a group.
​
Our favorite activities (besides farming) are sunny days lounging and swimming at Lake Crescent, hiking up the Elwha River Valley and exploring the tide pools at Salt Creek.

Pitch In
Starting a new business is difficult under any circumstances, but when you have to convince minuscule seeds to grow into edible food, things can get a little rocky.
We're working to regenerate neglected horse pasture, and OH MY does it take a ton of work. That's where you come in- we need help preparing new growing spaces, weeding existing ones and knocking out other projects as they come up.
There is work for everyone, no matter your age, experience or mobility status.
