Delicious and highly nutritious, our 2 oz bag of stinging nettle can be used as a cooked green like spinach- but be sure to blanch it first to remove the sting.

Nettle makes a great pesto and can be steeped into a tea that is reputed to help combat seasonal allergies. Well known for its health benefits, nettle is chock full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. We often make nettle tea during cold season to give our bodies a little extra boost of nourishment to keep us healthy.

Be sure to use gloves when handling, nettle will cause a small sting until it's blanched. Rinse the nettle in cold water, then add to boiling water for 90 seconds, rinse again in cold water, then compress to remove excess water. Chop and use as desired.
